The Alopekus Phratry is but one chapter of the Spartan Warband. We are a group of ancient history reenactors dedicated to the recreation of Ancient Greece and the classical period . We do this by participating in armored combat, feasting and camping and the study of living history and reenactment. The Alopekus group is primarilly located in Northshield or Minnesota/Wisconsin and participates in events with the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) but we have many events outside the SCA. We have opened for movies at IMAX and performed at city events.
